I need to make something special

I got some bulky alpaca yarn and I want to make myself something from it.

I was thinking a scarf since its so soft I want it near my skin.

Any good ideas or free patterns?

The current knitty surpise (Go here and click on one of the links) has a great scarf that might work. I'm planning on making one for MIL for Christmas because it looks like it would be fun to knit up.

I don't think 200 g is enough to make a shawl.. but the knitty suprise scarf ( the heart one) is sooo beautiful!!
