Need help deciding on a color!!!!

Once I get done w/my gift list, I really want to knit myself a shawl that I saw in Folk Shawls (if anyone has it, it's the Aran Pocket Shawl). I just can't seem to make up my mind on the color! I saw one in my lys, but to use that, it would be $$$. So I thought the Peace Fleece would be really nice to use, and less expensive!

Soooo, help me decide on the color!

I've got yarn for that exact shawl! I LOVE Folk Shawls. I'm using Brown Sheep Sport in a bright blue that I got at www.patternworks.com ...very cheap.

Of the peace fleece colors, I suppose that I prefer the Kamchatka Seamoss, though they really are all lovely. Do you want to be able to wear it with anything or do you want something bright?

I have the same problem as you- I can't pick a favorite! My top ones are:

Lena's meadow
glastnost gold
shaba green
georgia rose

I think Lena's meadow would make a nice shawl

I have the Seamoss and it's a beauty in person!

I was gonna use it to make my youngest a soaker, but I'm thinking I might use it to make myself something instead.

Do you think that can go w/a lot? I tend to wear a lot of long, funky skirts or jeans w/solid shirts (mostly browns, black, yellow, pink, and blue).
I was thinking the seamoss, teal, fern, brownski, maybe tundra or burgundy? I have no idea. I like the gold too, but shades like that look awful on me.

fwiw, I definitely think that the Lena's is versitile with the colors you mentioned...sagey green goes with everything...AND it's got those flecks of color in it which only adds to the versitility...

I am SO off to buy some Lena's for myself, am picturing a big comfy sweater Good luck to you...hope you post photos!

Hmmm...is there a picture of the shawl anywhere? That would help.

I always like burgundy too. Actually, any of those colors are nice. I'm leaning towards the greens, but telling myself no ---I always pick the greens
