Any Medeski, Martin, and Wood fans out there?

I was turned on to these guys in '01 and I am absolutely nutty about them!

As a matter of fact I just saw them again last night in Charlotte, NC and will be seeing them tomorrow night here in Asheville.

They are big time 'taper' friendly, so we partake.

I MMW. I wish I could see a show soon. It has been a few years for me. I have a ton of CDs somewhere from shows. They rock!!!

they are great! Sadly i don't think i have anyhing by them any more...i need to beef up my music collection again!

Yeah! So glad to know that I am not the only mama here that is nutty about these ever so talented guys! They were absolutely great this last Friday night here in Asheville! Just the kind of music that I like my wee ones to listen to and see their mama groovin' to ....

What other "jamband" type music do you all dig?

On the quieter side, DP and I love Warren Haynes solo stuff.

Anyone else?

We are really into String Cheese too! Just missed seeing them here is Asheville
But, we will be seeing the Neville Brothers here in January

We are big time SCI fans too. I met my hubby at a cheese show in Colorado at Red Rocks
Some other ones we like a lot
Yonder mtn string band
bela fleck and flecktons
Keller Williams (KDUB)
And Leftover too

Im sure theres a ton of new ones out there now, we have so lost touch with our old 'anything for a show' lives.... parenthood does that to ya eh?

They were playing The Grateful Dead movie on PBS lastnight and we were both glued to the TV.... Its been so so long.
