I love that book too. I use it anytime my kids get sick. It is very comprehensive and for each ailment lists convention, nutritional, supplemental, homeopathic, herbal, etc. treatments. THen gives a recommendation of which or a combo that works best. This is a great resource.

Great book. There is also a companion book, much smaller in size, called "A Parent's Guide to Medical Emergencies". Basically, a first-aid for kids book. Same authors.

My local book store had a used copy of Smart Medicine the other day when I was in there....LMK if youre interested...... (I didnt notice the price)

love it. it covers conventional medicine, hemeopathic med, and herbal treatments with no (or little) bias for just about every illness and condition one can think of. nutritional info discussed too.
