because of very irregular periods, I have just found out yesterday that I am 13 weeks pregnant. did the ultrasound dating because I was not sure at all.

I was given a due date of May 27. At the very end of the month, I know, but since it is technically in May, I decided I'd join the club here.

Looking back, I could see how some things that occured were pregnancy signs, but thery weren't too strong or consistent, so I just brushed them all off. I did not believe I was pregnant at all. No morning sickness to speak of and stuff, but i had a number of long plane fligts and did drink some wine since I had no clue. I have heard that it is not advisable to fly in your first trimester and of course then there's wine too, but I never drink much (half a glass to a glass - just to enjoy the taste and the experience), so for some magic reason I have this inner calm and am sure the baby is fine and was not damaged by any of it. Don't have a clue where that comes from - usually I am the type that always finds something to worry about. *lol*

Congratulations and welcome!! How many other kiddos do you have? Wish I could have "started" at 13 weeks, :LOL

ETA- I flew when I was 7wks and my OB assured me it was fine- they do discourage really long international or really frequent trips, but the occasional plane ride is fine in the first trimester

This is our first.

We had a vacation in Europe, so we had multiple long flights. But it's too late to do anything about it now, kwim, so I am just staying positive and confident my baby is fine.
