Tis the Season ...

My absolute favorite holiday movie is: 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.' My favorite Chevy Chase movie.

I also really enjoy watching: 'The Grinch' (both versions) 'Charlie Brown Christmas' and the first 'Home alone' movie.

'Olive - The other reindeer' is a really cute movie too! Drew Barrymore is the voice of the dog - Our kids totally love it!

The animated Snowman movie. The classsical music is fabulous and the adventure is grand.

The Santa Clause and 2...can't wait for "Christmas With The Cranks", Skipping Christmas was hilarious...can't imagine why they changed the title, though!
Legend (very suitable Solstice metaphors/symbology)
Four Rooms (New Year's movie, definitely not for kids but hilarious!)

White Christmas!!
The stop animation Rudolf the red nose reindeer - this is also the only set of decorations that I've ever really been tempted to buy...

SeanaRain -- if you like Meet me in St. Louis, try "In the Good 'Ole Summertime." It's another Judy Garland movie, and takes place mostly in the winter (contrary to it's title). It is a remake of "Shop around the Corner," which was also sort of remade into "You've Got Mail" with Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan.

And if you like White Christmas, try "Holiday Inn;" Bing Crosby & Fred Astaire -- Bing opens an inn that is only open holidays -- the inn looks suspiciously like the one in White Christmas (and Easter Parade!).

Ahem....did I mention I liked musicals... now I'm gonna have to watch White Christmas again today (my poor ds -- at least dh will be spared! :LOL) ...wish my mommy lived near me, we always watched it together.
