Joining your board :o) My first home birth...

I have three older children who were all born with midwives, but within a hospital. My first was medicaited and my last two were not.

This one will be a home water birth if all goes as planned and I will be catching my own baby. I am very excited.

My baby is due May 10th, but I always go overdue so I am counting on going around the 20th or thereabouts (I have had one 5 days over, one 13 over and the last 8 over).

I will be having an ultrasound Dec 28th at 22 weeks. We hope to find out the gender because the kids and I are so sure this is a boy.

Well, looking forward to riding this roller coaster with you all!

I think this is my very first time posting!!! Although I've been reading for a year or more...I guess it's time I come out of hiding!

I'm expecting #4 as well, and planning my first home birth. My others were all medicated hospital births, so this is so new and exciting for me!

Anyway, congrats on #4 and I hope to continue posting to get to "know" all of you!!

Hi everyone! I'm new here too and very excited to be a part of this! This will be my first baby and I'm full of questions!! I am definately into the natural and simple way of delivering but with it being my first birth I have a little anxiety about some things. I can't decide between a birthing center with a CPM or a hospitol with a CNM! Glad to meet you all!
