Hi all,

I've been away. First my water broke on Saturday night/Sunday morning the 14th and then I spent 53.5 hours trying to deliver a baby. She came eventually, on the 16th at 5:22 AM.

By the time we got home from the hospital, the board was down so I couldn't post.

I'll post her birth story somewhere, not sure where. It's long, not what I'd had in mind, but I we avoided a C-section amazingly so I'm happy with that. I had a good care team (well, 2/3 of the care team was good, the first 1/3 probably stopped my labor and almost led to a C-section).

I'm very sorry to hear about your experience though. My son's labor was 60 hrs and I remember every minute of it Take care of yourself and enjoy your babymoon.
