I remember going to be with my mother and brothers to be with my aunt for her third child (I realise this is not strictly on topic) and we ended up waiting three weeks! Lol. It was great to be there though (homebirth).

ds- 4 days shy of 40 weeks

dd- taken by c-section at 32 weeks so she would not risk bleeding internally and her platelets would'nt be really low.

Best of luck with your sister....!!

I'm 37.5 weeks, still waiting on my first...but my cousin just had her first child yesterday, 9 days prior to her due date.

Baby #1 was induced 10 days overdue (although I suspect my dates were off).

Baby #2 was induced two days early.

haven't read all the pps

my ds1 was born 10 days past my edd....via c-section following a failed induction for "failure to progress". hmmm....maybe the fact that my cycles weren't 28 days should have indicated that it could be later than "The Wheel" indicated:

41 weeks and 5 or 6 days depending on who you ask :LOL It was a induction 24 hours after my water broke and labour had not started.
