We've been talking about names again but can't figure out what this baby's name is. We have one that we both like very much, but for some reason we both feel like it's not really HIS name. Does that make sense? It's a great name that we both love, but for some reason can't commit to.

We have a name this time, but with Sam we just could not agree on anything at all. LOL He was born 2 weeks early and nameless. :LOL I think we picked one about 3 or 4 hours after he was here, but it was funny...dh was like how about Issac, I said no, well maybe for a middle name, and he said, Samuel? I said YES!(I had been begging him to agree to Samuel for a boy since the begining of the pregnancy. LOL), so he said, Samuel Issac? I said yup, that's it. LOL It was funny, and so simple once he was here.
This time we had a great boy's name picked out(I think it's great anyway), but then found out she is a girl. LOL The boy's name was Griffin Reed. The kids picked out Lillian for a girl, and I added grace, so her name will be Lillian Grace, but I still feel weird. I don't think I've clicked with the name Lillian...I still feel like this baby is a boy, even though I saw the U/S pics. LOL I HOPE she is a girl...or we would have a LOT of pink to give to someone else. LOL
Good luck finding a name. I think it is one of the hardest things to do. And we always let our kids know that if they want to change their name when they are older it is always an option...it seems weird to me to pick a name for someone that will last the rest of tehir lives. I love the idea of a childhood name(that the parents choose), and then an adult/coming of age name that the child would choose.

We're still very lost with this too, at 39+ weeks! We do have several choices, but haven't settled on anything yet. HOpefully this baby will 'speak to us' about what name to choose when s/he is born (which I sincerely hope is any minute now!!!)

We have a boy's first name picked out, but nothing else. This baby could be nameless for a while.
