Hi.
We recently relocated to Georgia. We've applied and been approved for PeachCare insurance for our daughter, age 33 months. (DH doesn't have a full-time job yet, and hopefully, I'll be remaining a SAHM.)
We just got the PeachCare temporary ID card, and in the accompanying paperwork it says that all children must be current on their immunizations. Our daughter is not current according to the AAP schedule, nor will she be.
Anybody have any experience in Georgia with PeachCare and not vaccinating?
We will be completing a religious objection form and the Georgia Academy of Pediatrics refusal to consent form to take with us to any initial doctor's visits. I realize this can be a problem with any insurer, but was wondering if, since PeachCare was state funded, they might be worse than usual.
TIA.
Stephanie
