For the few of us left..how long will your MW/DR. let you go over your DD?

How far over is to far over for you?

Well my DD was actually born only 7 days late but I had arranged with the MWs early on in the pregnancy that I would go to a minimum of 43 weeks before I would look at whether to do induction or repeat c-section. If I had gotten to that point I was going to ask about getting another week but the mw I had talked to about that (at 4 days post dates) didn't know how feasible it would be to find an OB who would be comfortable with that (mw's would have to transfer care at 43 weeks). I think my personal comfort level is a maximum of 44 weeks.

Well my MW hasn't said anything yet about natural induction although I did mention Castor Oil and she said she didn't like that because it can make the baby go poopy.

So I don't know what her plans are...I know I would like to hold my little one soon. I see her Monday so hopefully I will have the baby before then.

My dr. said they will induce at 10 days past my due date...which will be next Thursday. I have an appt. on Monday (41 weeks) to have an u/s and NST to make sure the baby is ok and my fluid is fine.
