Hello ladies,

Does anyone know anything about dicalcium phosphate? I saw the ingrediant in my neighbors childrens chewable tablets and we discussed it. We couldnt find much on the computer at the time either. I knew that if i came here, someone would know everything about it. Thanks for any help!

Dicalcium phosphate is a supplement to help build strong bones.....it's basically just another type of calcuim. You will usually see this type of calcium sold in bulk at a horse feed store since this is the type of calcium that is usally givin in pet vitamins. I recently bought some corn tortillas at a healthfood store and the ingredients said: corn, water, lime and dicalcium phosphate (used as a natural perservitive).
