Nursing Mom with a Summer cold

Thread Starter
I have an 11 week old baby that is on the high needs side. Thankfully she sleeps through the night but does not nap at all during the day. Usually because I do get a good nights sleep I can handle the days but this cold is really hitting me hard.
I feel it mostly in my left eye and my nose goes from running to stuffy with a constant dull headache. I don't really want to take medication. Any suggestions for something natural I can take while nursing full time that will help?

Thanks
Keri

Saline solution

Hi Keri-

I too am fighting a terrible summer cold.
I discovered saline solution during my pregnancy and am still using it for alleviating congestion now that I'm nursing DD. A few squirts in each nostril before bed works wonders.

Hope you feel better soon!
