A funny thing happened the other day....

Sunday night as I was putting Katie to bed, she said to me "Choclito is coming tomorrow" I told her maybe, but I don't think so because it's still early. Well, turns out she was right!

I woke up Monday morning and realized I was having contractions and they were quite close together. 5 hours later, we arrived at the birth center just in time to push him out. So much for the tub! He was 9lbs 3oz and absolutely perfect We named him Maximiliano Andres.

I'll write a longer version later and post some pictures, but just wanted to spread the news! I can't get over how much he looks like Katie when she was newborn.

Holy cow!!! Awesome!!! I can't wait to 'meet' him!! Glad it all went well, that you are all happy, healthy and home!

Congratulations Jess!!!!! I love the name! I've been trying to find different variations on the long version of Max.

I'm so glad everything went well for you and that it happened the way it did. Rest up and take care of your little ones.

Congratulations! That is really neat that Katie knew of his arrival beforehand. My dd told me, back in April, a few days after I got a + pregnancy test (and way before we told ANYONE, let alone her...), "Mama, you have a boy baby in your tummy, and I am his sister." Well, we were convinced it was a girl all along - but she was right! One week into it, I LOVE having both a boy and a girl - feeling very blessed. And I love the similarity in appearance between my two as well. Enjoy!!!
