BF safe eczema treatment??

Thread Starter
I have been diagnosed with numular eczema. I have had it for about 6 months and my mw thought it was a yeast infection I got while pregnant. Oops!! Well it is eczema and it is mainly on my abdomen but I have a couple spots on the underside of my breasts. They are pretty close to the areola and I don't want my 3 month old to be in contact with the meds they prescribed for flare-ups.

Any ideas for BF safe treatments??

Please help!!

my dd's ped recommended lanolin-free lotion for her eczema, and it keeps the mild stuff away, but for the bad patches he prescribed elidel. I don't use it on her because it makes me nervous, but just plain vaseline seems to work pretty well. there have been quite a few threads on eczema I think. if you do'nt get much response here you can try searching for past theads on it and I'm sure you'll find a whole bunch. good luck!
