Yeah, I am sure you know the proper care of your little guys wholeness-ie, dont do anything-but many doctors in the US are complete idiots and will try to retract (that isnt the only reason they are idiots, but thats one 
). Just make sure when you have your son's diaper off at doc visits to watch like a hawk. Even peds that say they know not to retract have been known to do it anyway, esp as your baby gets older.
