Does anyone use fuzzibunz (or other pockets) exclusively?

Just wanted to see if anyone was as pedestrian as me. I'm selling off all my covers and maybe my prefolds (I'm kind of attached to them even though I don't want to use them anymore...) and going all fb.

Okay push me to the outcast room now...

I know a friend that does! (Tiffany get over here!)

I used hemp fitteds, prefolds and wool covers with my first baby, but now she's potty training and I only use FBs and HHs on her. With my new baby I'm going to use only pockets, always, from the beginning. I don't care if anyone thinks I'm common trash. I need easy, and I for one think the colored ones are cute. I'm collecting a rainbow of them.

I use all Pockets--- although I do branch out sometimes to use his aio's etc. But, the majority of the time, the kid is in Cloth Ease Pockets from Green Acre Designs. We love them. I do have one FB, and its a fave too

i have 30 pocket diapers. its all we use. I sold all my fitteds, wool, covers etc. This is my second baby and i decided to just stick with what works. lol. they are trim under clothing, they never wick, they're great for overnight and i still get to play with colors and prints. I have 6 happy heineys (cuz dh hates snaps), 2 appiqued pockets from a wahm on another board i visit, 10 wonderoos and 12 fuzzibunz.

oh, and i do have one custom mudpiebabies aio. my only non pocket diaper and its got our last name on the bum (camo/soldier dipe) so its mine forever a keepsake

I do. I'm using all fb.
Just decided to take the plunge into the world of fitteds and wool though. I want to see what the hype is about. But have been exclusively fb for 2months now.

I'm planning to only use FBs once I get started CDing (can't afford to buy them till payday!) and the occassional Minki (pocket nappy made in UK)

Oh gosh I would if I could, they are the first diapers that I reach for when on the go. Pockets and microfiber towels are so much easier for me to change and care for than any other diaper that I've tried. I resisted for months before trying these because I thought that they were kinda silly. Then I got a FB in a trade, used it once and got totally hooked!

I don't like to use PUL at home though because my dh (SAHD)forgets to change as often as I'd like so I liked for dd1 to get some air time with coverless or wool throughout the day.

yeah I understand the air time thing that's kinda why I want to hold onto some of my prefolds. I just like everything to be the same (hence all fb's) and I tried an aio but I didn't like that it takes long to dry, otherwise I love the one I have. I just love pockets... we have 24 of each size. It's sooo much nicer now, easy to clean, nice quick wash/dry cycles and the line looks so nice with my rainbow of fb's on it. See, I can derive joy from that at least

I also thought they were silly at first! When I was buying my diapers I thought they were too expensive, and that I'd never get into them, and then I bought one, just to see what it was like. Oops. hehe

Same here. I just recently went back to work-and I realized she would have a rash only after the time he watched DD and I was gone!

I am really lovin my FB and pockets right now that I'm thinking of using them exclusively......but I know once winter is over and the texas heat is back on strong I'll change my mind....so I'm holding on to my PF and fitteds.....

19 HH
1 ella's
1 knickernappes

I like it cause it simplifies...wish I could afford more so dd didn't have to be naked on a pad while I wash : LOL well not all the time

I use pockets during the daytime and sometimes at nights, I use fitteds and wool for most nights though... and once in a blue moon during the day

I have
14 wonderoos
10 fbs
3 knickernappies (med)
3 dreamboat diapers pockets (for the sitter on M and W)

I also have 2 AIOS for my sitter

I have 10 I think fitteds, and 4 wool covers I rotate for night use

I started out that way, FBs exclusively.

Of course, it didn't take long for me to branch out and now I don't think I could live without wool at night .. but I would happily use FBs all day long. I them.

We did not start CD'ing with DS until he was one, and we used FBs from then until he potty trained at 27 months. We tried everything the first year, and nothing seemed to work for us but pocket dipes. I have FBs for the one coming in January. I did decide to try some fitteds with fleece covers for night time with this one, but I know in my heart I am an FB only girl!

Except for nighttime (when we use pocket fitteds with aristocrat cover) we use 100% pockets - we have a ton, not even sure how many right now -about 50% HH and 50% FB (I use FB and give the HH to daycare and for DH to use). I also have a sprinkling of a few other pockets - Tiny Treasures, Angel Luvz, Knickernappies, Dreamboat Diapers, Diaperworks, etc.

I have used just about everything out there - contours, fitteds, prefolds, wool covers, soakers, PUL covers, etc. While there are so many benefits to other systems (breathability, cute, etc.) pockets just are the best for our lifestyle. So easy, convenient, totally reliable (which is my #1 requirement), trim under clothes, etc. So that's what I decided to switch to after awhile. I did keep my favorites of the prefolds/fitteds/wool covers and soakers and PUL covers - in fact I could probably diaper another child just in the stuff I saved as my favorites (I sold the stuff that didn't make it on the favorites short list). Who knows if I will change my mind again!

I use pocket dipes most of the time too. I have quite an assorted stash but find I reach for anything lined with microfleece first. My littlest babe is particularly sensitive to being wet and will cry at the tiniest little pee and micro lining helps him feel dry when I can't get to him right away.

FB are very nice and have a great resale value on ebay when your babe outgrows them. They're a very nice diaper and easy to use. I think you'll be happy with a full stash of them! No shame in that!

Mostly pockets, but thinking of maybe switching

I started out with prefolds and covers and was not crazy about it, plus my DH acted like changing a diaper was brain surgery. I had tried a baby blanket amd snapping turtle pocket dipe and hated it, so thought I hated all pocket dipes. Then I tried little lambs AIOs and sold those off, b/c I was not crazy about them and they give the baby major diaper butt. Well, I finally broke down and tried a fuzzi bunz and loved it. My DH adores FBs too. So, now the majority of my diaper stash is FBs, BUT I get somewhat frustrated using the microterry towels as inserts, b/c they do start to stink after a while, so laundering has been somewhat of a challenge. I just tried some different detergent and am hoping it will help with the inserts, so far so good, I have noticed an improvement. I also have some snap-ez pockets and like those too, but lately they have been wicking and I don't know why. Tried wonderoos, and hated them, I have a skinny waisted baby, someone got a great deal on a barely used wonderoos from me. I do have a few AIOs here and there that I really like, but they are bulkier, so not really practical for going out. I have just recently started to explore the wool route, since my son will probably need to size up soon anyway. Soooo, we may be say, "bye" to the pocket dipes if I fall in love with wool. I don't know how happy my DH will be about it. This of course from a man who can take a computer apart and put it back togetherpiece of cake. Geez!

I started with prefolds and couldn't fold them, so I had them made into prefitteds and used SWW and fleece covers. That worked really well, except that ds started to get major rash (very sensitive skin). So we got 15 FBs and we alternate and it is great - the FB keep his skin dry, but prefolds didn't. FB are expensive and popular b/c they work and they're great.

We use all Fuzzibunz and it's been fantastic. DS just turned 9 months old and moved into larges. One nice aspect is that they have great resale value so when you're done, you can recoup some of your investment.

As of a few weeks ago all we have in our stash is 18 fuzzibunz and 24 microterry inserts - I was keeping 4 hemp fitteds and 2 wool covers for night but the fb with 2 inserts work so well those are going on ebay in the next day or two. Ive used wool for night because it works but I've never ever liked it much. I hate the feel of it.

Im all for simplicity. Her basket looks so pretty now with a rainbow of neat diapers without miscellaneous soakers, doublers and a snake of aplix covers messing it all up, lol.
