bought fabric online...usps ????????

I bought some pul online and i just checked the confirmation ## and my PO recorded it as delivered 2:15...YESTERDAY. but when i checked my mailbox after work (5pm) it was empty.
Any ideas why the PO does this??????
I realy want to get all the babies diapers made :

I think they may scan them when they get to the main facility - not necessarily when they are delivered to the home. Do you normally get your mail after 2:15 or before? You will probably have it tomorrow. I know my mail carrier doesn't have any scanning equip in his little truck so packages must be scanned at the PO.

I've heard too that FedEx drivers have been known to scan everything left on their trucks so they can go home if they are running behind because they can't go home until everything is "delivered".

Frustrating though when you are waiting....
