Looking for felted booties pattern

Hi everyone Now that it's getting colder, my DD's socks just aren't doing it. Neither are her normal knit booties. I really want to make her some felted booties from wool, but I have no clue how to do it - mainly because I have no clue how large to knit the booties so that they'll be the right size when felted. DD is 13 months old, so I'd love a pattern for booties that'll fit her little size 3-4 feet.

Thanks!

Here's a really cute pattern. It's not free, but not expensive: http://www.dawnbrocco.com/Socks.html#FULLED

There's also the Fuzzy Feet pattern at knitty.com:

It's sized for adults, but you could shrink it down.

You could also try just doing about 1.5 times the size that you normally would and hand felting so you can keep tabs on the shrinkage.

my boys love their felted fiber trends clogs. the xs fits my 2 yr old (foot size 7)
It would not be hard to shrink then to a 3 or 4

I have a friend who sewed booties from a felted sweater. They are similar to Robeez and just adorable!
