Anyone use Very Baby AIO pattern?

Hi,

I currently have the Very Baby AIO pattern. I have made one AIO using hemp but I just don't like it (sort of defeated the purpose of making a trim AIO I think using the hemp) I want to purchase some more material and was thinking about following the recommended fabric for this pattern (ie birdseye pique or diaper flannel) Has anyone ever made these diapers using either of these materials - would you recommend one or the other (or even something completely different?) I want to place one order to make 12 AIOs so I'd sort of like to have some feedback as to what typically works well

Hiya - I use the VB pattern as well. I have tried both diaper flannel and birdseye, and I definitely prefer the birdseye. Imo, it's trimmer than the flannel and just as absorbent. Silly me, I bought much more than I can use, (50 yrds! I just get ahead of myself sometimes...) so lmk if you want enough birdseye to make one VB diaper.

I'm glad you like using the birdeye though...I was a little worried about trying it since it seems well...so gauzelike (really not what you would think would be a great diaper material )

I have some VB AIOs and love the birdseye too! I also have the pattern but no birdseye! LOL I made one and used flannel and it seems alot thicker IMO. Have a great time making these and lets see some when your done
