I've been absent a bit, traveling and generally feeling like total crap, but here are my stats!
I'm 30, DH is 33 and we live in LA (Hi Pom!! Good to see you here!!
). DH works for Warner Bros. Animation (on Justice League) and writes in his spare time. I am a recruiter and am trying to get out of it and into business operations.
This is our 2nd (DS just turned 3 in November) and we're super-excited. As you can see from my sig, I had a m/c in October. I never got my cycle again, so this pg was a total surprise. We had an early u/s to figure out how far along I am. General thought is that I'm 9 weeks gestational, so 11 weeks by most people's count, though I didn't really have an LMP, so. . .
I had 24/7 morning sickness w/ DS, so my experiences with this one are much better. It's pretty much evening sickness for me, though I've progressed to actual vomiting once in a while. Fun. And, of course, I'm tired as hell.
The thing that I dislike the most, to be quite honest, is that I had just lost almost 20 lbs. and now the very things that I had quit eating are the only things I can eat! I can't eat vegetables AT ALL right now and it was the same with DS. Grrrrr. I don't want to gain 55 lbs again. Ah well, at least I think I'm disciplined enough to lose it this time!
As for the birth, we will be doing a midwife-assisted in the Kaiser Permanente birthing center. It was our only option for any midwife care.
Congrats to all!
