anyone have a brother 2125 or similar?

i have a singer..i got a few weeks ago that i am goin to return.it keeps sticking...

it's unfortunately from walmart (dh bought it for me) and not sure if we have the reciept so we'd have to do an exchange..

i had the brother 1217 for over a year and it worked really really great. i just sold it though cuz i wanted something 'better'

any of the machines at walmart that you bought and liked?

i got my singer from walmart and i really like it, i think its the 2638. i've had it for 3 or 4 years now.

I have a brother XL-6452 I have had it for 5 years and I love it! It works just like it did they day I brought it home! I really prefer brother to singer.

I bought my Brother from wal-mart a couple of years ago too. Am totally unhappy with it now, as I've had to have it repaired several times now, and cannot use it. (Planning on returning it, or throwing it out the window).
During my search today, I found out that Singer and Brother (The newer models) use plastic parts inside. This is part of my problem. Janome and...I can't think of the other ones right now, don't. They have metal parts.
Just a tidbit of info...hope it's something you can use.
