Uses for prefolds ...

Anyone use these to make mamacloth? Have a pattern or instructions where I can find them? Also, have you converted your prefolds to fitteds or shaped to be used with Snappis, etc? I can sew, but haven't done so regularly for about 10 years, and don't feel confident to do this without guidance. Any other creative uses for prefolds? I have cheapie birdseye, twill, and DSQ, all white cotton, in various levels of preservation.

Well as for pre-fitteds/fitteds made from prefolds, I have old CPF's that are getting pretty thin. I put a layer of flannel sandwiched right in the middle of the four layers and took out the center panel and shaped a nice doubler out of it and sewed that back inside.

That's a way to make a less absorbant prefold more absorbant as a fitted.

I'm sure others have made other things from prefolds but I wanted to comment on your different types of prefolds for fitteds/pre-fitteds.

Today I unpicked one, and used it as the absorbent fabric in an AIO. I just cut the pieces out and serged it.
