Can you turn onsies into reular shirts?

Just a brainstorm, but how hard would it be to turn onsies into reg tshirts or long sleeve shirts?

Everything now comes as a onsie!

i've cut just about all my ds's onesies into t-shirts.

i lay it on my cutting mat, lay my strait edge over the onesie, and slice off the bottom with my rotary cutter. i don't even serge the edges. i've never had one unravel or roll. easy peasy!

if you dont have a rotary cutter and mat, just slice off the bottoms with your scissors. i suck with scissors, so my edges would be wonky. LOL!!

I just cut mine with scissors. I can't remember if I serged them or not (I don't have a real serger but a fake serge on my sewing machine). With my dd I had her in onsies all the time (I think they're cute!) but with ds we did EC so I preferred t-shirts. I made a bunch of them into tees that way.
