:LOL I'm laughing because we're in a similar boat How proud and happy we were to think we had a handle on everything last night! And then we realized we forgot my Grandma! We had planned on giving her a framed pic of the kids (she's really hard to buy for but pics of her great grandkids are always appreciated!). Well, we are having a money crisis this year and can't afford to develop the film! Ack! So the plan is, Christmas Day we take cute pics of the kids with SIL's digital. Borrow the camera, take it home, print out pics on photo paper we have, frame it and give it to Grandma when we see her the 26th. Then give SIL's camera back. Ok, it's pushing it a little, but we can do it

I finished BIL's scarf last night. It turned out nice! I wasn't liking the edges but then I just did a single chain all around and it looked great! So tonight I told dh I felt like I should be crocheting something :LOL! I made 5 scarves in one month and now I feel like I have nothing to do I have one more person to make a rice bag for. Maybe I'll crochet her a quick scarf too

Ok, I got it figured out!

My grandpa is getting a toque. Poor guy has no hair, and forgot a warm hat when he came up to visit. It may not be done by tomorrow, but i will show him what I am making and it will be done by the time he leaves again.

Grandma 1 is getting a santa-themed area rug. It's a red and white oval crocheted rug. I used a size q hook and pencil roving so it took me less than 2 hours.

Grandma 2 is either getting fuzzy feet slippers or an afghan that I made all the squares for, but never pieced. Today, I will piece it and see how it looks.

I am in way over my head right now. I have two scrapbook calendars to finish (I only 4 months of each done : ), I wanted to decopauge some plates and make some clay items as well as bake. So much has come up and I am constantly tied up with the kids that it's impossible to get anything done!

Fortunately I found a cross-stitch I made a couple of years ago that I can give in place of one gift, but the rest need to get done. Why do I do this every year????

Carla, wow! You're going to be up late tonight, huh?

I'm done It's not perfect, but it's done, :LOL I didn't hem the capes. I was looking at the fabric and I think it might not unravel. And if it does, I can hem it later. So I just sewed on fancy hooks and they're ready to wrap.

We'll have to rush for the picture for my Grandma Sunday, but that's all that's left.

Well, it's 4pm, and I just finished putting the tassles on the last scarf. Just in the nick of time. I have just enough time to shower and dress, so we can go to the ILs for xmas eve dinner. We open presents after dinner, so it's not like I could come home and furiously knit all night : Good luck to all who are cramming all their xmas fun into the last few hours!!!
