What is the worst movie you have ever seen? - Page 8

Soooooo many terrible movies!
The one that popped immeditely to mind though was Reindeer Games. I think it has Charlize Theron (before she won my respect with Monster) and Ben Affect and (gasp!) John Malcovich. I only watched as much as I did because I kept expecting it to be a comedy, I just couldn't fathom actors I recognized doing something so incredibly worthless!

ITA agree with you there. That movie sucked big time! All of those good actors too, what a waste of time,money, and talent.

Wow...so many of my favorite movies on the list. I guess a movie has to be really bad to be too bad for me. I can watch almost anything and find something redeemable. I own Wild Things if that tells you anything! My hubby won't let me live that one down.
That being said, the worst movie I have ever seen is Druids...so boring, such bad acting...I think it's the only movie I've actually turned off. I know I've seen some other not so great ones lately...just can't think of them. Oh, yeah, Tiptoes...it was okay up until the ending. I'm still mad about the ending!!

Oh, and I have to add that Zoolander is freaking hilarious!! All I have to do is think of it and I laugh....

Battlefield Earth both sucks and blows. It still annoys me that we watched the whole thing and that we PAID to see it.

Also? Envy - just watched that the other night, couldn't even finish it. I couldn't even muster a pity laugh. ugh.

Oh and Mission to Mars, mostly because it was 9 hours long. Or at least it felt that way.

Riding In Cars With Boys....I had to keep reminding myself it was only a movie and that was not a real little boy she was treating like that

About Schmidt....probably because I thought it was supposed to be a comedy, and also dear M-I-L had JUST passed away when we saw it

Starship Troopers...the previews looked so cool and had great music, but the movie didn't have the music and I thought it sucked

Face Off is by far the worst movie I've ever seen. I was yelling obscenities at both John Travolta and Nicolas Cage.

DH and I renamed Hope Floats to be Turd Floats.

One we recently stopped watching-Jack Black and Ben Stiller-forgot the name where BS kills JB's horse? Terrible! And I love both of those guys.

I saw Spanglish the other day. I feel like I wasted 2 hours of my life. Kept waiting for it to get better, but I think I'd have been better off falling asleep like I wanted to.

I'm also one that isn't into Sci-fi, comic books or medeival type things...I know, don't hate me :LOL...so I hated Star Wars, Spiderman AND all of the LOTR. I suffer for my DH and DS though.

Wasn't that based on a true story though? So I wonder how much was dramatization, and how the real Bev treated her son?

Well, there are just SO many movies that truly suck that I will only mention the one that really cheesed me off. It is the only move that ever made me angry I had spent my money on it (Pay-per-view.) And also, I am surprised no one mentioned it before SaveTheWild. As I read through all the posts, I kept thinking, "really? No one else hated it?"


The Blair Witch Project

Truly one of the worst movies ever. DH and I were both so mad that we wasted our time and money on it.

I was also pretty ticked that I spent money on Good Will Hunting, but we won't go there.

Oh man I couldn’t stand spanglish either!! I was so excited to see it too... I love Adam Sandler. It was almost painful to sit through it was so bad! BIG disappointment! : 'I hired a sitter so I could see this crap?'

The movie was based on the book Bev wrote herself. The movie is diff. from the book in some fundamental ways - but honestly, she stinks even more as a mother in her own book! At least the movie showed her *trying* to get her son out of the mess they were in. Her book really shows her lack of empathy for her son. Glad it made her some money...but what a legacy to leave. A written record of how she screwed her kid.

As for the Blair Witch Project...I always thought that looked too gratuitously scary and awful. But that's just me.

And Spanglish was awful? I had wanted to go see it! The ads make it look funny! Oh well.

Lastly, FACE OFF....I forgot how bad that was. I think I repressed that memory. I kept thinking all throughout that...stupid, stupid stupid!

The Crow or Crow or whatever. Walked out after like 3 minutes.

That Johnny Depp movie where he has the babboon heart...blech

Benny and Joon...should have been a lifetime movie or something...way too depressing and sappy

Grease 2, didn't make it far into that one either...the bowling song did me in

'the crow' was the only movie that has made me cry before. oh, the end when he's at the cemetary... .

The bowling song in Grease 2 is the BOMB!

I got all the way to the end of page 1 before I realized there are 8 pages to this thread!

Wild, Wild West and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein are two of the most disappointing movies I've ever seen. Notably, both have Kenneth Branaugh, whom I love. With Frankenstein I actually had to leave the theater. I was very pregnant with our first, and I think all the gore and sadness I just couldn't take. The part where the monster reaches into Helena Bonham Carter's chest and pulls out her still-beating heart was a bit over the top for me.

Those two and Mars Attacks! Yuck. Too much nastyness aimed at innocents. I realize that was the point, but I guess I'm a softy. Though I did like it when the Martians' brains exploded. Splat!
