What is the worst movie you have ever seen? - Page 18

Without a doubt the worst movie I have ever paid to see is Titanic. Such trash! I didn't want to see it but it was a friend's birthday and she wanted to see it. I will always remember her crying her eyes out while I was sitting there trying to figure out why the damn thing hadn't ended 2 hours ago .

And the dialogue in the first Superman was so atrocious. The scene where Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder are flying through the air is painful to watch.

Blades of Glory. ick.

The Hills Have Eyes

I was watching with my teenage daughter who loves horror flicks.

When the mutant man came down from the mountains and forced the female nursing mother by gunpoint to permit him to nurse from her breast ....

I almost threw up. Needless to say, we shut it off.

At first I was thrilled because the mother in the movie was nursing her daughter and her mother kept telling her she needed to wean. She just kept ignoring the mother and doing what was right. Then....that scene ruined it all.

I wanted to throw up to. YOu don't want me to tell you how that scene ended either.

The baby lived through the movie anyways.

Applejuice I had forgotten all about Solaris That movie was agonizing! and s-l-o-w. My Dad went to see it in the movie theater because he likes science fiction and thought it sounded like a good sci fi flick...and he took a nap right there in the theater!

Kill Bill, particulary "Volume 2". Soooo boring.

Seeing the 5,6,7,8's are the only reason to see either of the Kill Bill's.

Hated "The General's Daughter" w/John Travolta? for I what I thought was a stupid, gratuitous rape scene.

A boyfriend in college made me sit through "The Naked Lunch." Can anyone explain to me what the heck that was about?! :

But I LOVE (and own) the Kill Bills, Napoleon Dynamite, both Pirates of the Caribbean, Van Helsing.

I went to see Titanic in the movie theatre. Four times. And I bawled. :

Blue Velvet. I thought it was so sick and misogynistic I felt ashamed to watch it. Second place, A Clockwork Orange. Which came out when I was a teen and I pushed my dad into taking me because it had such a fantastic review in Time or Newsweek. So if the memory of the film itself isn't bleah enough, I have the yuck guilt of having dragged my dad to suffer through it too.

Regarding "Solaris", I was referring to the original Russian version which DH took me to when we were dating in the mid-1970s; talk about slow! It was in Russian with English subtitles that did not explain anything. I was bored to tears. We went to a science fiction film festival in Sherman Oaks that showed post-nuclear holocaust-type science fiction films from around the world. The theatre is no longer there. There is the Nuart in Santa Monica though.

DH is lucky I still married him.

Regarding "The Hills Have Eyes": in the updated version, the little actress who says, "You want to play with me, Mister?", was in my third grade class when she made that film, yes, I was her teacher. She is the niece of Jennifer Aniston. I kind of felt sorry for her because she never told anyone in class she was in that movie. I wondered if she saw the movie herself. E-ww!

I Love this movie as well. The commentary it makes on society is very compelling for me. I could skip the anti mormon stuff.

Blasphemer!!!!! The original 3 are excellent, the later 3, not so much. (the second one of the new ones was really bad.)

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Oh, this was such a good movie. Made me think. I loved this one as well.

I think this is "something to talk about".

I loved this movie too. LOVED Antiono as Che. Although I think Mandy Patkin played a much more angrier Che.

I cannot believe no one has mentioned this stinker.... It was so bad that Bill Cosby tried to buy the rights up.....

LEONARD PART 6.... no there are no parts 1-5. AWFUL MOVIE! WORST EVER!

Anything with Steven Segal. I can't remember the movie name but remember the one where the town needed to make tea from flowers to save them and they were tossing the flowers from the Black Hawks? I know they were going for the image of flowers from military helicopters, but if they really wanted the people to actually be able to make tea from the flowers would it not make sense to put them in a bag and drop the bag from the helicopter so the sick people can actually make the tea and not scrounge around for petals all over the ground?

How about Big Mamas house 2? The first one was very funny, the second stupid, and the baby is strapped in the car backwards. And my mom and her friend love it and watch it a lot at the lake.

Everyone must see Orca: The Killer Whale, so that they can understand what True Cinematic Badness really is.

Very funny!

And Ohhh I didn't even know I had seen a remake. Well, I don't recommend watching the remake of it either

No kidding! I would hope though that no third grader had seen that movie, myself.

I love all of the Star Wars movies but I agree...the love scenes in Episode 2 are...painful.

Bo Derek was in that film.

Some people have mentioned "Titanic"; why see a movie in which you know the ending so well?
