The Portrait of a Lady was a snooze fest IMO

That was another one I couldn't sit through. There are a lot of Nicole Kidman movies on this list.

there are very few movies that i dont say "that was the worst movie i have ever seen" they just seem to get progressivly worse in my opinion..

anyways, i think one of the worst movies i have ever seen was bi-centenial man with robin williams..it was so creepy! i could hardly watch it.

every Kevin Costner film I've ever seen, especially the Postman. He destroyed the book. I avoid him at all costs now.

: i've seen so many horrible movies. here are some that come to mind:

* ghost ship- never see this!
* darkness falls- never see this, either! it is so horrible.
* matrix revolutions :yawning: :Puke
* envy- we got this on netflix last week. it was just... weird. we never finished watching it.
* anchorman- okay, it was kinda funny in a lame way but definitely not worth using our night-out pass (my mom babysat and we went to a movie at the cheap theatre and we picked this one! ick!)
* bad santa- we got the unrated version on netflix. i'm not easily bothered or disturbed but this movie was just awful! so gross!

i really am a lot more cultured than this, i swear! i'm willing to watch pretty much any movie once, though.

Wow - I see so many movies listed as bad that I liked

the last one I couldn't sit through was " Bad Santa" which was a shame - it looked like a funny idea.

The Cube

Anything with Kevin Costner in it, particularly Dances with Wolves. The title always makes me want to say "Runs With Scissors".

Any movie with Richard Gere. I really hated the movie where he plays Lancelot, Sean Connery is King Arthur. What a stinker.

Most movies with Mel Gobson, except The Mutiny.

The movie with Brad Pitt and he plays Death incarnate and woos Claire Fourlani. Anthiny Perkins was in it too.

I rented that back when it first came out on video, and my roommates and I had a blast repeatedly rewinding and playing through the part where he gets hit by a bus. Poor Brad looked like a ping pong ball after a while.

This list is funny. Some of my favorite movies are on here like American Beauty. I couldn't leave the theater for 10 minutes because I was crying so hard.

Pirates of the Carribbean was another favorite. Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow was the funniest, sexiest thing I have seen in a long time.

I remember seeing that in the theatres ~ every single person laughed hysterically, while I think I was scarred for life..............

Yeah, Meet Joe Black. DH and I saw that movie the day after we got married. He knew I wanted to see it because Brad Pitt was in it. I could tell he thought it would be a turkey, but because he's a sweet DH and he knew the movie would make me happy, he agreed.

After the movie I tried to point out the good points. I tried to accentuate the positive. But the fact is, the movie sucked. I felt bad for Brad Pitt.

And since then, DH rents the worst movies on the planet, and always wants me to watch them with him. Our marriage started with a bad movie, and I pay for it every time dh's Netflix choice arrives in the mail.

Breakfast of Champions with Bruce Willis
Torque I liked the motorcycles hate the actual story
Postman - it was like watching every movie cliche there is
Earthquake- it is an old 70s movie starring Charlton Heston
Eyes Wide Shut- legs wide open...
The Fighting Temptations- Beyonce was in that one
With the exception of Selena...any movie with Jennifer Lopez in it
Falling Down - I think this was it, with the Rock in it.

There are a lot more, but these are movies that make cringe.

I think Battlefield Earth is hilarious. I mean, it's about an dreadlocked alien from the planet Psyclo. What's not to love?

I have to agree ~ the movie did suck, as did "The Mexican" , with Pitt & Julia Roberts. That movie was painful to sit through ~ had it not been for him, I would have walked out.........I could not get the hang of James Gandolfini being gay ~ I don't have a problem with actors cast in gay parts, but in my mind, he'll always be Tony Soprano, you know?

Where is American Beauty on this list? I didn't see it. After seeing it, I felt that it was the most perfect film ever made. In fact I said that it wasn't so much made as it was born. I may have been exaggerating a bit. But I was blown away (no pun intended).

I was... temporarily, anyway. It haunted me for weeks. I kept going over it again and again. And then I got kind of angry because, really, I thought it was crap, overall. It pissed me off that I was being haunted by a crap film. So.. in with the good air, out with the bad air... and it was gone.
