PG after 3 losses

Hey guys,

I am so scared and nervous. My husband and I were not planning this pregnancy, as we were going to wait until we saw our specialist in March. We were about to have chromosomes testing, the uterus dye test and endomtrium biopsy. Now I have had to cancel everything. I am on only 100mg of oral progesterone and am a little over 4 wks pg. I lost my first at 6 wks, second at 13 (but fetus died at 6.5 wks) and last one at 7wks. I am a wreck. I feel like I am setting myself up for another loss, and that a loss is inevitable.

Anyone, who is out there who has had successful pg's after three or more losses, please let me know and if you are in the same boat as me, I would love to talk.

Thanks,

Cathy

Hi Cathy...

I'm also on the Pregnancy after Loss boards and those ladies are very helpful. I'm pregnant again after 2 losses, so I can understand some of your fear and worry. In talking with people these past 2 years, I have heard of many women having babies after multiple losses, so that's what keeps me trying to trust.

Have you gotten "tested"? Most m/c, esp early ones just happen I guess, which was the case for us. We've been tested..and everything came back normal.

I don't have any answers, but I can listen!!!

I have only been tested for antibodies, which came out negative and was supposed to start the major tests next week with OB then more tests with Fertility Specialist who deals only with habitual miscarriages. Anyhow, dh and I said we would not try anymore once we got the letter from specialist which said that we cannot have had a miscarriage in the 12 wks prior to appt., so we did not want to risk it. Well it was too late, as we had already been trying for that month, but thought that we were off on our days. He was the one who told me to take a test, as he sees how my body changes.

I want to be positive and think only happy thoughts, but every time I go to the bathroom, I am scared to look.

I literally have to force myself not to keep looking after I pee...

I do know that since all my tests came back ok...the MD is having me taking progesterone supp. to keep the levels up just in case. Not sure if this is something you should ask your provider about...
