My dd is only 15 months. She has a baby toothbrush. I just use water and the t-brush to clean her teeth. is this all I need or should I get something else? Thanks

I used to use the conventional baby toothpaste, then when I used up the first little tube I bought Tom's of Maine floride-free children's toothpaste (I figured its OK if he swallows some since it's floride free.)

I honestly don't know if using either of these is better than using plain water (and the gerber stuff is probably full of junk that's best kept out of babies' mouths anyway!)

THere are several brands of natural baby toothpaste. Obviously baking soda is an option but I don't think she'd like the taste of it. THere are natural tooth powders and I belive Eco-Dent has a children's one. No flouride if you don't want it in the powder.
