Relactation books?

I'm helping a friend out on her questions about re-lactating. I've given her articles and links, but she wants to read books about it. Are there any out there?

I don't know of any books specifically addressing the subject, but many books about bf bring up relactating. I have a very good friend who relactated after she had surgery. If your friend needs support, I'll see if my friend can contact her. I know she's writing an article for Mothering about her experiences.

My friend is actually going to be inducing lactation for an adopted baby. I've given her a bunch of links and the name of the book "Nursing your adopted baby", but I was hoping there were more books out there.

Tell your friend to check out the fourfriends.com/abrw/ site where she will find a number of Moms who are building milk supplies for adopted babies. And, if she is adopting an older than newborn, she can get a copy of Better Late Than Never, an article on introducing bf to them by e-mailing msahs4abf@earthlink.net.
Most general bf books contain some info about inducing lactation and she will need the basics as well as the small adjustments needed for adoptive bf.
lact-aid.com site will provide info about nursing supplementers which are handy gadgets designed to help provide extra milk and 100% of the ancillary benefits...
