Could I *possibly* be feeling KICKS already???

No...... maybe?????

I keep feeling these tiny "thumps"... just a little *blip*, every so often. It might be a muscle tic, or it might be the wee one! I'm almost 14 weeks... it's WAY too early to feel the baby move, right???

NOpe, not too early. I felt mine first 2 early, too.

I'm wondering too. But the only time I can feel it is if my pants are too tight and I'm leaning over, I *think* I might feel something.
It's so funny how we wait and wait and wait and then finally it happens-and doesn't stop. I can't wait

Thank you for not laughing me out of town.

When I saw this kid on an ultrasound a few weeks ago, (s)he was practically doing cartwheels. If I really am feeling movement, I am a little scared... this is going to be one active kid, if in utero actions are any indication!

Maybe I need to cut out that morning cup of coffee.

How exciting famousmocknbrd!

I remember seeing my first baby on u/s and he was doing exactly what you said yours was doing, flips, cartwheels, just going crazy in there. I couldn't believe that I couldn't feel it!

Enjoy those kicks--This is my favorite part of pregnancy. I love it when I am drifting off to sleep and I feel a little thump, it's like my babe is saying goodnight to me... Or after I eat or drink something and then I feel him moving around enjoying the food that was sent down. It's pure heaven

oh, as for movement indicating temperment..my first was VERY active in utero and was a fairly high-needs baby because he was quite observant and internalized everything--still does. My second baby was more mellow in utero and was a very easy-going baby but when toddlerhood hit became more challenging because she expresses everything outwardly.

This baby seems more like my second--so I hope to look forward to an easy-going, easy-to-sleep baby but a more challenging toddlerhood.

We'll see I guess!

I'm definately feeling movement- it's much easier to feel the second time around. I think I notice it most an hour or two after a big meal. I can't wait till it's more regular- I worry less when I can feel the baby and know it's alive down there. (I know that's kind of morbid, but I worry constantly...)

I read that around 14 weeks is when you might start feeling the baby move. That is right about when I started feeling it. Now I'm 17 weeks and I'm continuing to feel baby move. Especially when I'm still. This is my #2 baby and I'm feeling movement much earlier this time around, as is said to be common.

I can't wait until I can feel my baby! I am 14 weeks tomorrow, so hopefully soon. I too will feel more positive about the pregnancy once I feel movement all the time. I don't think it's morbid, just reassurance.

well istarted feeling faint little squigles that definatly aren't gas at around 11 weeks. they aren't regualr at all yet...just occasionally. I can't wait until this babe gets big enough to really start letting his presence be known.

i started feeling faint movements around 13 or 14 weeks, but very infrequently - like every few days. now it's a few times a day (and all day christmas). it's so exciting. my little sister wants to feel the baby so bad. i told her by her birthday (end of feb).

I felt the baby move between 12 and 13 weeks. I am now 16 weeks and have felt the baby a handful of times- usually pretty soon after I've eaten.

I love those first little taps and wiggles-
like when you're waiting for someone beloved to come home, and you're listening, "Was that a footstep on the porch??"

I've been getting more little taps here and there. Usually two at a time, but I can't feel them with my hand yet. Love it.

Can't wait to be able to watch my belly for movement- on a hot day while preg with DD, I was wearing a short top, and a friend and I both clearly saw her turn a complete somersault. So cool. Can't wait till she can see movement!

I've been feeling flutters and wiggles for a few weeks now. I'm 18 weeks today, and felt the first "real" kick this morning. It was un-mistakable, and the baby continued to kick for 10-15 minutes. I didn't get any work done, just sat at my computer and enjoyed it. :P

So to answer your question...yep, you can feel movement this early. Enjoy it, you'll miss it after the baby comes.

I am 16wks and I have been feeling a little movement since 14wks. The ultrasound tech thought I could feel the baby for sure especially when I showed her where! I have another ultrasound on the 20th! (18wks) I've had three now! So were pretty sure the babies okay! But oh yeah some people feel it sooner! If its gas oh well! No one has to know! Before long you won't wonder if you feel it anymore! Congrats girls!

I had an idiotic, but well meaning, friend try to convince me yesterday that the flutters and bumps i've been feeling were gas bubbles. Uh Hullo? I've lived for 28 years; i know the difference between gas and something else. Besides, what the HELL would a gas bubble be doing in my UTERUS.

Of course, this is the same friend who said to me, "I felt my second REALLY early, but he rode a rib the ENTIRE pregnancy"

You moron, that's impossible. Your uterus isn't that high your ENTIRE pregnancy.

I hate stupid people. :LOL
