I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a good book or had any ideas for a baby welcoming ritual with family and close friends. We are "catholic" in a way, but not really practicing- we are more "universal and alternative" in our thinking. I want a "baptism-like" ceremony for the baby to welcome him or her into the world, but don't necessarily want the church thing. Any ideas??
