I sent my husband a link to a website selling nursing necklaces, with the suggestion that it would be a good stocking stuffer or Christmas present for me. He followed the link and thought "Gee, I could make something like that. That would be nicer and probably cheaper too." So off he went to the bead store, with a jewelry making friend in tow. He picked out a whole bunch of beautiful beads and they strung a necklace for me. Spent an entire afternoon doing it. Took it to the cash register when it as all done and realized that he'd picked out $70 worth of beautiful beads! So that's what I got for Christmas (plus some fun stocking stuffers).

It's working well for its intended goal, and is pretty enough that I could even wear it out. Not really what I was looking for, but a sweet and thoughtful gift all the same!
