Help on preventing PPD

Ok I have had post partum depression every time after having a baby and once had horrible post partum psycosis. This later one was the worst. In the past I had a horrible doctor who didn't help me at all. This time I am working with m new and wonderfull doctor and we are planning on starting me on meds 3 weeks before the baby is born. Can anyone tell me what are the best meds to take during the tail end of pregnancy and for nursing? I am desperate not to have PPD or PPP this time. TIA

I don't know anything about meds, but I do know a great deal in regard to doula support during pregnancy, labor and especially POSTPARTUM. The more support a family receives, the less risk of PPD. If you would like information, let me know.

I have gone through two pregnancies and nursed three babies while taking Zoloft. For me; it was nothing short of a miracle.
