Feelin' Blue

The disasters in SE Asia have me feeling so blue. I think my hormones are really kicking in. I cry watching the news and I ache for all the children esp. who lost their lives. I HATE feeling so helpless. I think I'll send some money to an agency. At least that will be a small something I can do.
I'm pretty much tethered to my home because of the nausea and that makes me feel even more frustrated.

Anyway. Just wanted to put some good thoughts out there for all those who are suffering.

Yes, it's sooo sad I did see a report that an orphanage there was able to save ALL their children though! They were near enough to see the ocean recede and the caretaker knew that was trouble and put all 35 children in a boat and saved them all! So there are some bright points. It's hard to even comprehend tragedies of this magnitude

I agree, it is very sad and devestating for the ppl there, last I heard they guesstimated 80,000+ dead and counting. The recovery will be long and tedious and the loss of human life and resources is just unimaginable.

It's not just horomones, though they might be exaggerating the despair you feel

Hell, its a despair we all feel.

Such a sad, horrific thing to happen.

I agree, it's so sad and tragic. What a world we live in. I just try to keep my thoughts positive if I can.
