I am looking for a link on the internet which would teach me how to make a Waldorf doll suitable for a 1yr old. If anyone can help it woul be greatly appreciated.
I don't know of an internet link, but Magic Cabin Dolls (www.magiccabin.com) has some great patterns and kits for waldorf doll making - different sizes and styles.
I know you were asking for a link but...there is also a really simple patterin in the book Beyond the Rainbow Bridge...which is just a wonderful book in its own right.
Happy Doll Making!!!
The book Toymaking with Children by Freda Jaffke has both the unformed, knotted dolls and the formed dolls and the most recent version has color photos. I know it is not a website, but the book has many great ideas outside of making the doll, so it is well worth the money.
Thanks again everyone! I can't wait to get started on making a doll. I think that it will be such a great gift. My friend found me a great book, so this will make it much easyer. After knitting soakers I need a new charllenge...wich will probably turn into and obssession if it works out great.
