Teething and clove oil?

Hi,

My little one is teething and I am just wondering if anyone has tried using clove oil. I have read about this but essential oils are strong and I am hesitant to use this even if it is diluted. Has anyone tried it?

I tried it once but didn't dilute enough. Then, got scared to try it again. BUT...I do know it's supposed to work well.

I used something called gummomile oil? that had clove oil in it. I think it was from herb pharm or herbs for kids. Worked like a charm. I also used clove oil with castor oil as the carrier around the ears and jaw line. they both have anti-inflammatory properties and work quite well together to ease ear pain associated with teething.

totally swear by it!!!!! if you just use one tiny drop and put it on your pinky then kind of rub it on your thub first it should end up being a smaller amount getting on but enough to work. ambisol frreaked me out because after putting it on and bf it numbed my whole breast! never again with the ambisol.

I've used clove essential oil many times on my husband and myself by diluting it in an almond oil carrier. It is VERY strong and burns if used directly. Whatever you decide to do, I would place it on your gums first to see how it feels. It does numb the throat when used as a gargle. Good luck!
