IF the hallucinations were caused by the medicine, would they have continued? or stopped eventually (there were only a few weeks where I was having them)
I didn't tell anyone about them at the time, because Kevin doesn't beleive in depression (I know!!
) and it would've really pissed him off. The scariest hallucination was when Roland woke up crying & when I went to him, bugs were crawling all over him, so I started running down the hall to get a can of Raid. I only took a few steps & then realized what I was about to do & ran back to brush the bugs off with my hands. When I got back to him they weren't there anymore.
I was on a medication once that caused me to hallucinate a little bit and the hallucinations went away after a few days; most of the time, though, I get really psychotic and scary if a medication is making me hallucinate and I have to discontinue it.
I've had to deal with many people who would be pissed off if I told them I was hallucinating, and I know what a miserable experience that is. In fact, in my life I have met two people who have stayed with me and helped me get through these things, which is why I have a husband and one good friend.
I understand, I've been there, and it sucks.
At any rate, that enough about my psychoses!
I'm pretty sure that grocery delivery, if we have it around here, would cost more than going to the store, even with the kids. Most of the time, I grocery shop alone (or Mike does) after Mike gets home from work. Sometimes I'll take one of the kids. When I go with two or three kids, I really enjoy it.
It's so much fun, and I get to feel like SuperMom! :LOL Of course, I really need to request a candy free aisle, because BeanBean (from one of those car carts) got awfully quiet while I was checking out once, and when we got out to the parking lot I learned that it was because he'd pulled some candy off of the lower shelves and started eating it. :LOL He was covered in chocolate and sugar.
Yesterday, I cleaned out the van. It's been just collecting huge amounts of stuff for ages. Well, I totally emptied it, even took out the carseats and took it to be vacuumed and washed. I'm a better parent when I get out of the house, and it was getting to the point where getting the kids into the van was depressing because of all the stuff. I found cheese puffs and goldfish and french fries under BeanBean's carseat, which is really horrifying because, well, we haven't had any of those things in at least two months.
I also found the remains of a sandwhich which we gave him last summer (about two weeks after BooBah was born) and I remember getting him out of the car and thinking "did he really eat that sandwhich, it was huge!"
All I can say is, I'm glad that nothing was alive in there.
When I washed the outside, I realized that a lot of people have opened their doors into my van; there are tiny chips of color all over it!
That really pisses me off, can't they at least open doors gently? I'm always really careful to park in the middle of spaces, too, because it's a minivan and it's huge, so it means that other people are parking right up against the lines and then taking it out on my car!
At any rate, I have a clean vehicle, inside and out. And a new rule that we're not going to feed anything to BeanBean in the car unless it's absolutely contained, like one goldfish at a time.
I washed the carseats and put them back in last night, and they're all in tightly enough that the van moves when I try to move the seats
so we're ready to roll as soon as the kids wake up. Yay!
I'm going to the post office today; I have to mail some things to my brother and I'm trading my Baby Wrap (which doesn't work if you're really fat
: ) for a ring sling, so I've got to mail that out. There was something else I should be mailing, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is, so it'll have to wait.
