I haven't had a fitted on my wish list in months. They're almost as expensive--in some cases MORE expensive--than pockets and AIOs, and you still have to use a cover with them. That irritates me. But the thing that drives me #&#@ing BONKERS is the knowledge that the fit varies so dramatically. How am I supposed to come up with a complete, uniform, birth-to-potty diaper stash for a child who isn't even conceived yet if the diapers fit every baby differently? I mean, that's asking too much of me!

That said, the ease of going coverless is appealing (my mom freaks out at the idea of her grandchildren wearing diaper covers for some reason--I guess she's having flashbacks to the plastic pants days), and the learning curve on them is easy enough that I have fantasized about getting a full stash of Kissaluvs (or fitteds made of a similarly stretchy fabric) and nylon pull-on pants--super easy, only one set of closures, thus giving me the ability to have everything all uniform. But, of course I wouldn't waste that much money on diapers (and of course, my dh hates nylon).
That's the long way of saying "I occasionally see the appeal of fitteds, but I don't really like them either."
