First of all, a belated Happy New Year to everyone!
Thanks so much to everyone for their support and condolences about our dog. We had a rough couple of days there, but we're doing okay now. We still miss him, but it's been easier too because so many changes on the home front--our French exchange student moved in on 1/1. So that's a big change too, so the weirdness of that sort of helps dilute the weirdness of our puppers being gone. And I'm relieved to not be worrying so much about him all the time and glad he isn't suffering or unhappy. Thanks polka for the link to the Rainbow Bridge! I really liked that!!
Heather--sorry to hear about the accident--glad you are all okay and wish you a speedy recovery from that on all levels.
allgirls--I had to laugh about you ordering preseed but waiting till after af shows up (in an earlier post). I was thinking, maybe you should invoke Murphy's law and the perversity of fate and buy it now--spending $20+ now on the next cycle of TTC is probably a great way to insure that you end up pregnant this cycle! :LOL
sunnmama--sorry to hear about your grandma. Hope you have a safe trip, and look forward to hearing from you when you're back. Hopefully with a BFP!!
Justice--I had to giggle at your reply to sunnmama's question about testing on the trip--I could just see you testing everywhere! I had a mental image of you in the tiny bathroom on an airplane, straddling that tiny metal toilet and trying to pee on a stick while the plane lurches up and down in a sudden patch of turbulence!!
: That would be me too!
Juliacat--sorry your mom is being a pain.
My DH has already been warned that he's got 4-5 months of well-timed GIO and then if I'm not pregnant he's gotta provide a sample!! I mean, hey, it's not like some painful or invasive procedure--basically, it's the same thing he was doing before he met me, only with a little cup involved!
At least then we'd know how to time better if his count were low for the remainder of the year, before having to move on to other things, or know that we needed to explore other things on my side of the equation sooner if his sperm were perfect. But that's me at 33--if I got pregnant this next cycle I'd be having my first baby at 34. I don't feel like I have too much time to f*** around, pardon my language, if I'm going to have a couple of kids before my ovaries give up the ghost for good!! If I were younger it would be different though, and every situation is different.
Sarah--welcome back from vacation!
Galatea--that article about light was interesting. I'm going to try darkening our room further and see if it has any effect.
Cat--the ewcm sounds promising!! Hoping this is your time!
to Amanda and Angie!!!!!
