Today my 4 year old started pre-school.. He didn't even cry when i left him. .. One of the little girls in there had just turned 3 and she wsa crying up a storm... I'm very glad we didn't have him go when he just turned 3 i think he would have done the same thing... Perhaps some kids are ready at 3 for the most part i think that most parents are ready at 3 and they just make the kids go... Sorry tangent there...
Just wanted to say i feel sort of ambivalent about it... I'm glad he is going and i know he was looking forward to it, but it seems it is just one more step in the very long line of steps that takes him farther and farther from me...
(sigh)
So he's a big guy today, and I am soo proud of him!!!

I just wasn't ready. But it wasn't my mom's fault. She had to work. When she wasn't working, I stayed home with her. I still remember those days--how I "helped" her in the kitchen and the like. Those were the days. sigh.
