DD wants to nurse but doesn't want the milk

My daghter is 25 months old and nurses to sleep and through the night...usually 2-4 times a day.

Over the last week or two I've noticed that she'll ask to nurse to sleep, and she'll start nursing. When the milk starts to let down, she'll stop sucking for about 30 seconds until it "goes away" and then she'll resume sucking. What's up with that? Does this mean that she's beginning to wean? I'm not worried that she's not getting enough nourishment or anything - she's a good eater. It's just kind-of nervewracking...lol. She drifts off to sleep before the milk can let down. I'll probably dry up completely soon, won't I?

Just one question: could you be pg? Sometimes toddlers notice a change in taste right away.

LOL...don't scare me! We aren't actively trying to prevent a pregnancy, and AF should be due next Thursday (although my cycles can be pretty irregular). I don't feel pregnant, but it is a possibility.

Today she wanted to nurse after she fell and got hurt, so we did. When the milk started to let down, she got some of it, pulled off, looked at me and said "Yuck" and got down.

Now I'm starting to wonder, although I really don't feel pregnant at all and I did last time...

:LOL Yuck was one of the words my ds used to describe my milk when I was pregnant. Good luck mama...I hope you get the news you want.
