Do any of you mamas show yet? - Page 2

Actually showing a little with this one...yikes already! Pants are all uncomfortable to wear--sweats are our friends, sweats are our friends!! The first one I didn't show until I was about 5 months pregnant.

I have the bloated look too. I wouldn't say I look pg, but there is something there that usually isn't. I've taken to wearing DH's shirts because they're baggy enough that I don't look fat. I had almost no tummy the first time around but this time it's a bit bigger so I'm sure that is making a difference too.

That website was bad for my self-esteem . I look like a lot of those women do at 20 weeks!

A bloated pouch for me, especially after dinner, and I'm at 12 weeks tomorrow. Although, if I really let those tummy muscles relax -- then I look fat! I was a little worried about being too small after reading all your responses, but then realized I was almost 5 months last time before I could tell/see anything. That, and the MS has caused me to loose a little weight too. Who knows!

The next month should be exciting for all of us!

What was really scary is that I look like some of those mama's! Or like I'm having a singleton and am 20 weeks along already. Whatever happened to my abs of steel? (Not that they were ever steel, maybe just heavy duty aluminum foil)

not showing yet but my pants are certainly tight and I already pulled out the granny panties last week! :LOL they are sooo comfy though

And no stretch marks on those huge bellies! How does that happen?!?

This one is my favorite. How beautiful...

I KNOW!!!! I thought I was going to get by w/o stretch marks and then BAM during my third trimester, I got some really ugly ones, and they still have not faded yet! My DH keeps telling me I should use cream this time (I used cream last time too), but I keep telling him it's genetic. My mom got bad stretch marks when she was pregnant and I got here genes. I have never taken a belly shot of my pg belly skin showing, b/c my stretch marks are gross looking. I'm always envious of those who have big bellies with no stretch marks!

Yeah, dh liked that one best too. But this was the enormous one:

I never got stretch marks on my belly with ds. I got a bunch on my inner thighs but my belly was spared. I was so happy and dh bragged to everyone we met, which made people hate us. I don't know why I didn't get them on my belly but on my thighs.

Oh my... the website w/ the prego pics made me feel like a cow. :

I did notice that there seems to be the most growth between the 20th and 26th week.... exciting stuff happening in those bellies!

Some days I'm very bloated looking, some days I look quite skinny and I feel that BFing & pg can really take a lot out of ya. I'm 10 weeks. No weight gain yet.
Yup, 8 weeks and can only get into my "bigger" pants already. I wore a suit that was comfy just two weeks ago yesterday and my body was so unhappy about it! No weight gain yet, though. But one of my "fitted" nursing bras has gotten uncomfortable too. Back to Bravados-only!

We are committed not to telling people until 12 weeks, but I am also getting a lot of colleagues telling me that I "look tired" and "seem draggy" plus I turned down wine at a dinner with colleagues/friends the other night so I suspect a few suspect. My wearing only "fat clothes" for the coming month will probably confirm it for the observant.

Isn't that the truth!! My belly sure remembers where to go. I'm at eleven weeks with #3 and I'm showing a little bit. I actually had a woman at church ask me if I was having twins. I told her it would be a while before that would be discovered. Inside, I was thinking "Please don't wish that on me. I have to move at 7-8 months!" I love looking pregnant, though. I think it is so beautiful.

YES! I feel huge. Most of my pants are too tight now--bottom and belly. I know most of it must be bloating and fat being that my uterus is still tucked in the pelvis. It is true that the second time around you show much faster, at least for me! I tired wearing maternity pants the other day but they kept falling down. This in-between phase is no fun. AND, I am scared to say I've already put on 10lbs! The only way I am able to subside the nausea is to eat--a lot. I am very excited to start the second trimester. Hey, anyone experiencing insomnia? I didn't have this last time and it's very tough with a night-nursing, co-sleeping 2 year old!

I agree. Breastfeeding and pregnancy are a lot of work! I am so exhausted I can hardly think straight--not to mention a horrible case of pregnancy induced insomnia! Everyday I am just thankful that my breasts aren't too sore to nurse. Not nursing would be even harder than nursing in my life. Jonah (ds) loves nursing! At least with nursing we can be still and quiet for a few minutes...

Yes, I'm showing a bit too. My jeans (bless them) all have spandex so they are stretching with me, it's my shirts that I can't wear. Honestly, though, I'm loving my body right now. My breasts are getting nice a big and my soft belly makes me feel super feminine. I remember feeling this way with my first too all the way until, well, you know, AFTER delivery when I was suprised that my belly had turned into pudding!

I'm 11 weeks today and still feeling bloated and fat rather than preggers. Jeremy finally convinced my to go buy a couple of pairs of new pants in a few sizes larger than I usually wear. I can't handle pressure on my tummy due to the nausea, and I am a little bigger than I was. I think these pants should take me through the next couple of months until I "pop" which I'm really not expecting to do until 5-6 months. But you never know I suppose!

I am not showing yet, but I can tell that I am only a couple of weeks away. I have just been having that lovely stretching feeling and my skin has started to get tight and itchy. Luckily I picked up some clerance maternity clothes the other day!!

OK, I am pregnant with #5 and my belly is not pretty right now! I looked at those pictures and was very jealous! As far as stretch marks, I remember with my first being so proud I didn't have any, until my sister saw me naked one day and started laughing. She told me to look in the mirror and I realized I just couldn't see them! Of course each baby since then has made their own marks...

But my belly is looking weird. It's like my uterus is pushing all my extra belly fat upward and out, so I actually look like I am very far along, people are noticing the difference and commenting. Then I tell them I am only 9 weeks and then dead silence...

showing a bit to dh and I - I'm tiny so that belly seemed to pop a bit already. only wearing my low rise pants and yoga pants now - mat pants still a bit too big.

I'm mainly just tired and eating tons - nursing a 19 mo old and being pregnant is tiring!
