Our favorite board book is so sweet, I think I'll share the entire poem with you! Each page has an illustration of a mama & baby animal:

Mama mama, nuzzle hug, I'm your little golden cub

Mama mama, soft as silk, give me warmth and give me milk

Mama mama make me clean, every day the same rountine

Mama mama, play with me, carry me so I can see

Mama mama, hold me tight, we sleep a cozy sleep tonight

Mama mama, you are fine, you are clever, you are mine

Different board books

Here are some board books my little one loved:

"Grandfather Twilight" (it has beautiful illustrations and makes a wonderful good-night book)

also, but maybe for a bit older:

"Stellaluna" by Janell Cannon

Moo Baa La La La
Cow says moo, sheep says baa, three singing pigs say La La La.
No no you say, that isn't right! Pigs say oink all day and night.
Rhinoscereses snort and snuff and little dogs go ruff ruff ruff.
Some other dogs go Bow Wow Wow, and cats and kittens say meow.
Quack says the duck and a horse says neigh.
It's quiet now, what do you say?

I did that from memory, are you impressed?
