Could we have a Frugal Living Forum? - Page 2

Another idea would be to have the main forum: Home Management

Sub forums
Frugality

Finances (could include GOOD)

Meal planning (could include pantry challenge)

Decluttering/Organization (many threads in personal growth/tribes/or talk)

Great idea!!

Looks like there will be no response. I am sure you wil just have to find another forum. Try natural home & body. Wait that won't work cause it isn't about natural stuff necessarily. Personal growth? Nope. TAO? Prob.

Hi Diaper Jen,
Give Cynthia some time. She is always super busy and forums need time to be reviewed with Peggy.

Come to think of it.......they may do a periodic review, so that all ideas are reviewed together at once.

Let's go back to twiddling our thumbs wink wink. I am sure an MDC person will drop by soon to give us some info.

Like the SAHM forum requests? We get a TV forum but no SAHMs???

I am 110% positive that all forum requests are reviewed by both peggy and cynthia.

They are not all approved and created.

Much to the shagrin of many......

But it makes sense from an administrative and cost perspective (more forums= more server and bandwith required = more money). since this is a free site for users - and i prefer it is kept that way whilst being frugal - that seems to make sense dontcha think?

ETA: please keep in mind this thread went up less than 12 hours ago. and i pmed cynthia to give her a heads up.

I also would really love to see this (not just a frugal living forum, although that would be good too). I think it would add a valued aspect to MDC.

A question, though: What's GOOD?
I would really enjoy either a frugal living forum or a home management forum. We all have so much to share and learn. Great idea!!

PS: GOOD= getting out of debt

I am sooooooooooooooo impatient!!!

Must stay busy....

Must stay busy.....

I am voting Home Management w/subs!

LOVE this idea! Frugal mamas is great but ther's so much lumped together, it gets confusing. It is kind of on a decorating bent right now and I sort of hate to interupt with more recipe questions...

This would be soooooo great ! Another subforum could be Country Living. I'm soooo psyched about this

Hey...I consider myself a pretty good bargain hunter....where in the heck are the frugal mamas threads? Wow...been around awhile and never saw it. I second a forum entitled.."Bargain Hunters" maybe?...I LOVE a good bargain. Good suggestion OP.

One more...yes, please!!

Thread Starter
The main Frugal Mamas thread is in the 'Finding Your Tribe' forum.
Home management seems like a really broad topic, and hard to understand what it's really about.
It seems some title that mentions money would be more appropriate.

Don't lose heart, Diaper Addict Jen! This is a relatively new post, and Cynthia is probably awfully busy! She'll see all the responses and respond when she gets a chance
