So, my due date is Jan 28 so that makes me 38.1 weeks with baby #3. Since yesterday I have been feeling lotsa contractions and having continous mucous discharge. It's not regular but very uncomfortable and painful all the same. I feel so out of it too, sleepy and just groggy and lazy. I already got all the baby's stuff together and the maternity center bag is mostly together too.

What do I do, I feel so restless and tired at the same time. Like I want to go out and walk but have to stop to pee and/or BM so often that it is a pain to go anywhere.

I went out to Wild Oats with my mom just to get out. The contractions keep coming and discharge is constant, everytime I wipe.

Nobody else going through this or something like it?

I was EXACTLY like this for the last week & a half of my pregnancy. I had endless BH contractions that would go into full swing when I went anywhere & the peeing got to the point where it was every 5-10 minutes no matter what I drank.

Every morning I would wake up surprised that I was still pregnant:LOL It felt like I would go at any minute but I did have the baby on my due date. Sorry. Maybe you will get lucky & all systems will be "go" for your baby.

We all know that they come when they are ready but the waiting can be agony!

s to you mama!!

Nadia,

I am not having the level of discharge you are (just the normal increased vaginal discharge of late pregnancy that makes you think you might have done something that signals imminent labor...then go to bathroom to check and all that moistness is *nothing special*). But I keep having ramped up BH that get me thinking "this is it!" I'm emotional and things smell funny and I keep throwing up; but every morning I wake up to....nothing. The contractions peter out and even tho' I don't sleep hard, I don't go into labor either.

I'm also not due for at least 10 days, so I've (technically) got nothing to be so jazzed about. I keep trying to remind myself that all this *nothing* really is something. My last pre-birth was kinda similar (as best as I can remember) and resulted in a fantastickly quick and smooth birth experience. I would rather be uncomfortable and crazy in doses for a few weeks and have a one hour labor that have full on labor for 24 plus hours straight KWIM? So, that thought is what I comfort myself with. And I needed it again this morning, so thanks for sharing.

hey Nadia!
Sounds like you have a lot more going on than some of us! Baby will come eventually!
You definitely have a lot more going on than me and I'm just about at my EDD (the one I was trying to forget!)!!!

Could be any time.... but you might still have to wait some more!

Guess what mamas I had the baby Sunday morning, 01/16/05 4:55AM.
The contractions continued to get stronger Saturday night until I really couldn't take it anymore. I got to the maternity center at 3:45AM and ended up pushing 3 times in the tub and there she was.

So small my little Jaylene, 6 lbs 3 oz & 21 1/2 inches long. It was a wonderful experience and I was so relieved that it went so quickly. I am happy she is here.

Thank you mamas and good luck to you all!
