dye to color plaque on teeth?

Hi there,

I was wondering if you know a product that will dye the plaque on teeth red( or any other color, for that matter;-))

I suspect my daughter doesn't always brish them properly and I'd like to show her where she needs to improve.I know they are available in other countries but I have no idea if it's available here, what it would be called and where I could get it.

Any help?

Doesn't have to be "natural"

I know they do. We did it in elementary school. Call your dentist and ask.

I looked for it too as an aide to help my child brush better. It's no longer made.
They dye they used was taken off the market by the FDA as carcinogenic if I recall correctly.

Huh. I just did a google search for "disclosing tablets" + plaque and came up with several companies that sell them -- mayber they're made with a different dye?

It's possible. I asked a few local pharmacists and that's what I was told. I didn't do an online search.
