DS has crowns on his front teeth. He got them last April. So far, he has had one tooth break in half, one crown loosen, decay get underneath it, and the crown fall off....and now another tooth's crown has broken. The front of it seems to be gone, it is chipped at the bottom as well but the back seems to be intact. The dentist did not charge us to replace the last ones that broke. I will not even let her think about charging us for this one either. This is ridiculous. He just had all those things fixed a month ago. Is it normal for this to happen? We are moving out of state in 3 months so she will not be able to fix this for us next time. Not mention DS is 2.5 and this dental work is sheer torture for him. Please help!!

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I've had a crown on my front top left tooth for as long as I've had a permanent tooth there (long story). Mine fell off several times over the years, and I remember that my parents were warned in advance that this would happen. If I remember correctly, I got it when I would have been approximately 7 years old (maybe 6), and it fell off multiple times until I was about 16, when the permanent one was placed--and that's the key. They couldn't put a permanent one on because of my growth. When my teeth had all come in and I was a teen, they put the permanent one on. I lost it in the grass at school, in the shower at home, in the street riding my bike, and the most mortifying; at the Winter Dance with my brand new bf (now dh, so I guess we weathered it okay
), the back broke off and many anxious minutes were spent in the toilet fixing it. Yeah, it stinks, figuratively and literally. yuck. but I do think it's expected, at least it was for me.

Not what I wanted to hear.
LOL I don't want to rush his life but I can't wait til he is older and they start falling out!
We're going back to the dentist next Friday to have it fixed. My poor little guy.
